Fun at the Park

10 months old!

I know you are all saying, "It is about time!" Life has been so busy lately with me at a new job, Chris and baseball season and trying to be a family with what time is left out of the day. Peyton turned 10 months old Saturday and it made me sad. I can not believe our little boy is growing up so fast. He will do certain things like open the cabinet or pull open the drawer and Chris and I both are like, "Oh my gosh! He looks like a little grown up." It has been so fun watching him learn. His new tricks are clapping and waving. It is the cutest thing everytime he does them. He gets really excited when we get excited seeing him do it. We had a hard time the fast 2 or more months because Peyton started out with a cold, then went to teething, then got an ear infection then a terrible cold with horrible coughing and now we are finally clear, but he seems to be teething once again. The boy has 6 teeth! I can't believe it. Babies are so different. His cousin Manny is 3 weeks older and it seems like his teeth are taking forever, but Peyton looks like he could chomp an apple!

Peyton loves going to baseball games. He claps when he sees other people clapping and loves to crawl around and play with the baseballs he sees laying around. It is so fun watching him explore and be outside.

He is definitely a daddy's boy. He gets so excited to see Chris and if he doesn't get him right then, Peyton about jumps out of my arms to get to him. And don't even think about taking him out of his dada's arms because he will pitch a fit until he gets back. He knows that dada is fun with wrestling and chasing and crawling around on the floor. I love watching them play!

We are finally getting a haircut today. The mullet has got to go! I will post pictures later. Chris told me it was time. I just can't believe he actually needs one. These months have just flown by. I don't realize how big he is until I see another baby like his friend Greer or cousin Cooper and hold them. I then see that he isn't a little baby anymore. In 2 months he will be a year old! I can't wait to plan his party!

I have posted some pictures of us playing at the park around the corner from our house. Peyton loves to be outside and get dirty. He would probably eat, sleep and stay outside as long as I would let him.

milestones

It was been so long and I apologize!
Peyton has done so many fun things since the 4th month. He is now crawling and pulling up on everything. He is EVERYWHERE! He says mama and dada. He is cutting his fourth tooth. He eats big boy food. I can't believe how fast he is growing. This stage is so fun because he is becoming independent and interacts and plays much more. He is so fun and such a joyful baby. He is definitely all boy and loves wrestling with his dada. He thinks his dada is the funniest person ever. Chris can walk into the room and Peyton cracks up.
We had a great Christmas and Santa/grandparents were very good to him. We now need a separate room to put all of his toys and he isn't even one yet! It was so fun watching him pull on the paper and play with the boxes and bags more than the toys themselves. He had fun playing with his cousins Hannah and Manny. He is a monster compared to Manny and he likes to pull his hair. I said it was Glenn's payback for picking on Chris when they were growing up. His Auntie M spoiled him rotten and I know she loved every minute of having him at her house.
I cannot believe Peyton is almost 8 months old. Sometimes I want to slow down time so we can enjoy him more, but time flies. Life is crazy and we try to soak up every moment with him because we know we will blink our eyes and he will be going to kindergarten, then high school, college and all that stuff. He makes us laugh all the time with the faces he makes and noises that come from his mouth.
