milestones

It was been so long and I apologize!
Peyton has done so many fun things since the 4th month. He is now crawling and pulling up on everything. He is EVERYWHERE! He says mama and dada. He is cutting his fourth tooth. He eats big boy food. I can't believe how fast he is growing. This stage is so fun because he is becoming independent and interacts and plays much more. He is so fun and such a joyful baby. He is definitely all boy and loves wrestling with his dada. He thinks his dada is the funniest person ever. Chris can walk into the room and Peyton cracks up.
We had a great Christmas and Santa/grandparents were very good to him. We now need a separate room to put all of his toys and he isn't even one yet! It was so fun watching him pull on the paper and play with the boxes and bags more than the toys themselves. He had fun playing with his cousins Hannah and Manny. He is a monster compared to Manny and he likes to pull his hair. I said it was Glenn's payback for picking on Chris when they were growing up. His Auntie M spoiled him rotten and I know she loved every minute of having him at her house.
I cannot believe Peyton is almost 8 months old. Sometimes I want to slow down time so we can enjoy him more, but time flies. Life is crazy and we try to soak up every moment with him because we know we will blink our eyes and he will be going to kindergarten, then high school, college and all that stuff. He makes us laugh all the time with the faces he makes and noises that come from his mouth.

4th month

Time sure does fly when you are having fun! I can not believe he is 4 months now! He changes so quick and gets more and more fun with each stage of life. Peyton can now laugh, roll over, talk, grab things, pull things to his mouth and so much more. He has me laughing all the time. He has this new toy that has a frog above a mirror and he talks to that frog as if it was talking back to him. It is the cutest thing ever.
We went to the doctor today and Peyton now weighs 15lbs 9 oz. He has filled out a lot and looks like a little man. I just want to eat him up. We are going to start with solids this week so we shall see how that goes. I will have to post pics of the results because I am sure it will be everywhere but in his mouth.
Everyday I am just amazed that God would bless us with such a joy. I have learned a lot about myself and God uses Peyton to show me my sin but I wouldn't have it any other way. It is just such a wonderful journey having a child of your own, I can't explain the feelings I have for him because they are just so strong. I also love to watch Chris and Peyton interact. It brings such joy to my heart to watch Peyton light up to see his daddy and it makes me love Chris so much more which is something I didn't think was possible because I already have such deep love for him.
I could go on and on about the two boys in my life but I wouldn't want to bore everyone. I will update some pictures soon!

new tricks

Peyton is now in the third week of his third month and he's got tricks. He can roll over on his belly, but not back to his back. He will copy you if you stick your tongue out at him and he will mock you when you blow a raspberry (I guess that's what it is called). We think he weighs almost 15 lbs and we don't go back to the doctor for a couple of weeks so we aren't sure. Peyton loves to smile and laugh at his reflection in the mirror. He is so fun! He likes to watch TV, I guess because it is always changing and flashing. He has a short attention span like his mommy, he can't play with one thing for a long time.
I have a ton of pics to post, but I haven't figured out how to do an album yet, so I won't fill up the page with a hundred pictures. He has changed so much though, he is definitely all boy! This sweet little girl, probably 8 yrs old, at the sitter tells me every time I see her that I have a cute baby. We are still learning to juggle life and priorities, but God is carving us into Himself and helping us raise our youngin up in faith. It is crazy how your sin is revealed so much more in a child that is dependant on you.
